The Tiger Brands Foundation is proudly associated with The Department of Basic Education.

The Tiger Brands Foundation was established for broad based community impact, and is for the benefit of no paying schools, vulnerable groups in society as well as projects that promote sustainable livelihoods in the areas where no paying schools exist. Programmes that aim to look after the nutritional wellbeing of learners as their core mandate have a far-reaching and significant impact that goes beyond just filling empty stomachs. Our team co-ordinates, manages and implements the projects through selected channels to deliver on the vision and objectives of the Foundation. The team engages with stakeholders, partners and suppliers to create an effective model and groundwork on which future projects will be based. Project Co-Ordinators are based in each province to provide a strong communication flow and manage all aspects of our breakfast feeding programme. A working partnership with Tiger Brands CSI Division to share knowledge, experience and best practice\. that nutrition is the cornerstone for a healthy body and healthy mind. all children should be given a fair chance to learn and develop. all parents should play an active and integral role in the development of their children. that all communities should be supported in the development and growth of their children. the Foundation’s value and longevity is linked to its ability to contribute to the evolution of society and its sustainable development. the continuous search for improvement is what promotes the development of individuals, organisations and society. partnerships should be created on the basis of combining core strengths and expressing self interest upfront.
