Sandton Suites started as a two suite establishment in Today Sandton Suites has grown and is now an established provider of accommodation in Johannesburg. The aim of Sandton Suites was to be service oriented and to really ensure that the customers truly felt the personal service. The name comes from the combination of two of its suburbs: Sandown and Bryanston. Sandton is a prosperous business, commercial and residential district with its own sophisticated appeal. A cosmopolitan atmosphere permeates its international hotels, conference venues and shopping malls. Up market recreational facilities including theatres, restaurants and business centres combine to make Sandton a distinctive business and leisure destination. Sandton Central is considered the retail and financial powerhouse of Southern Africa and is home to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Sandton Convention Center and numerous banking institutions. The system has direct connections to OR Tambo International Airport and an inter city commuter service from Pretoria through Rosebank to Parktown Station, Johannesburg. Johannesburg, also known as eGoli, is the most populous city in South Africa. Johannesburg is the provincial capital of Gauteng Province, the wealthiest province in South Africa, and the seat of the South African Constitutional Court. The city is one of the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the world, and one of Africa’s global cities.
