In the years after its inception in 1976, SDC completed numerous private projects under the leadership of the company's founder Sean Davidson, and the company quickly grew into a competitive and respected Specialist Contractor in Gauteng, South Africa. With the broadening of its operations into the commercial market in 2001 with the successful completion of a R20m office park, SDC established itself as a versatile building contractor, able to deliver a spectrum of services to the private property developer.
