Quantzmed Personal Health (Pty) Ltd t/a Quantumed was founded in 2011. All our products undergo a battery of independent tests to ensure that they meet industry standards. We locally manufacture and distribute high quality personal healthcare products. We are based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. QUANTUMED’s Profile:   Established in 2011, Quantumed is registered as a (Pty) Ltd company with representation in Johannesburg and Cape Town. We are an extremely small team of 3 dedicated individuals whose focus is at all times striving to maintain our mission statement. Four years down the line, we have achieved what we set out to achieve - we have an excellent understanding of the workings of the South African medical market, both in the private and government sector. Coupled with our sales team’s 25 years’ experience in the medical industry we are proud of the network we have established and our association with some of the best facilitators, decision-makers and medical companies within South Africa and abroad.  
Our Vision   Quantumed’s vision is to become the first medical company of choice within the South African Market that manufactures and distributes high quality personal healthcare products.                            
Our Product Range   ü  Male Condoms – both Plain Lubricated and Coloured and Flavoured Quantumed imports Coloured and Flavoured Condoms from Malaysia. The concept of importing Coloured and Flavoured condoms was a calculated risk four years ago as free plain condoms were readily available to the public via the government. However, our thought process was that having coloured and flavoured condoms would be more “in tune” with the youth, making male condoms more “funky” and fun, thereby removing the stigma associated with condoms. This “risk” has proven successful. We now supply various private sector companies, various mines and NGO’S throughout South Africa with our Coloured and Flavoured Condom Range.  Indeed, the South African Government has now decided to change their own free plain condoms to that of Coloured and Flavoured. Although, one could view this as a threat to our business, we don’t. We, now offer the concept of doing personalized branding on condoms as a value ad. The concept is quite unique in South Africa and as far as we are aware no other company offers this service/benefit.  
Female Condoms Quantumed also sells and markets Female condoms that complement our male condom range. It is not a huge market in South Africa or indeed globally. Reasons for this are the expensive price of female condoms both locally and internationally and the stigma attached to the complexity of using the female condom. There is not much QUANTUMED can do about pricing as this is an International issue. However, regarding the complexity of using the female condom, QUANTUMED offers workshops whereby we train staff on how to properly use a female condom as well as a male condom. We also explain the myths and untruths of both the male and female condom during our workshops. Lubricant – water-soluble range in 5ml, 10ml sachets or 50ml, 100ml bottles. Quantumed is pleased to announce that we have successfully manufactured our own lubrication called QUANTUM LUBE in a special sachet called SNAP EASY. The SNAP EASY sachet has a worldwide patent, thus making it a one of its kind sachet. We have successfully passed the SABS test on the QUANTUM LUBE and we have now started to slowly introduce the SNAP EASY QUANTUM LUBE (SEQL) into the South African market. We will shortly be sending our lubrication overseas to the USA for more testing as these tests cannot be done in South Africa as we do not have the necessary laboratories in South Africa to do the required testing. Our aim is to market SNAP EASY QUANTUM LUBE (SEQL), both locally and internationally. At present our market regarding lubrication is the NGO market of South Africa.
