It is a sad fact that most pet owners far outlive their pets. Our animals become part of our lives and families and when one of our pets passes it can be a very sad time. It is important to grieve the loss of your pet and to remember their life, not their passing. Currently, your vet will offer you several options when your pet passes away. In terms of memorials and remembrance pieces, only one other option is available other than a Paws In Time piece. This option is to have the remains or ashes of your loved one returned to you, at a rather exorbitant fee. We realized the limited options our vet gave us, and did not want to keep the ashes. We collect and frame the paw imprint for you to cherish and hold onto forever. The Society for Animals in Distress is a non-profit organization providing professional veterinary care to animals in low- and no- income areas, (i.e. townships and informal settlements) where veterinary care is otherwise inaccessible. Pricing includes a home visit where we come to you to take the paw print as well as delivery of the finished frame! Paws in time will deliver your frame back to you within 3-4 days, after the clay has been dried and framed. Standard frames come with a space for you to insert your favourite photo. If you wish to have your frame delivered with a photo already inside, you are most welcome to email us the photo you want us to use and we will print and frame it for you. This will be levied at an additional R30 per photo.
