Rianette Leibowitz started Owitz Communications in March 2009.
Owitz Communications is passionate about communication and how it can be used to positively build a brand, influence people and uplift the community.

She also worked for many other international companies such as Wacom, Siebel Systems, Microsoft, Motorola and the Business Software Alliance. From a local perspective Rianette has gained experience in the food and entertainment industry with clients such as Mr South Africa 2010, Sookh Halal Butchery and Deli, as well as Ndalo Media, focusing on the launch of DESTINY MAN Magazine. At this stage the company hopes to employ more upcoming PR professionals and by doing so, empower and give back to the industry. Owitz Communications is passionate about communication and how it can be used to positively build a brand, influence people and uplift the community. She is currently presenting for Mosaiek and often takes up the MC role to ensure that, that part of the production runs smoothly. From a local perspective Rianette has gained experience in the food and entertainment industry with clients such as Ferrero, Mr South Africa 2010 Denver Burns, Sookh Halal Butchery and Deli, as well as Ndalo Media, focusing on the launch of DESTINY MAN Magazine. She plays an active role in the upliftment and development of the local PR industry by participating in the Public Relations Institute for Southern Africa’s activities whenever possible. She sat on the regional committee for six years and was elected as Chairperson for the region for two consecutive years. To ensure she stays abreast of the ever-changing media landscape, she belongs to the National Press Club. Additionally, she has been fortunate to travel, which she thoroughly enjoys, by making use of personal and professional opportunities. Rianette is in association with author and speaker Timothy Maurice Webster and has also been appointed as ambassador for The Giving Organisation’s Entrepreneurial Development Trust. Both of these opportunities came as a result of her passion to network and build relationships and is now helping her to add value to these businesses. Rianette has been married for six years and is the proud mother of a baby boy.
