Dinner is all about our Italian heritage, home made dishes to our weekly specials depending on the seasons. Copper is used in most of the fittings and deco, it gives the interior a glowing reddish atmosphere. The modern yet retro style gives the guest a feeling of awareness and satisfaction. The deco flows out into a more comfortable setting but it keeps with the style and deco. Pallets furniture, table tops, frames, bar and deli has an organic feeling with the trendy touch. The Chalk board signage is an integral part of the branding and gives a feel of familiarity. Warm and comfortable seating in the restaurant and Al fresco. New and old way of roasting are coming together, restaurant aren’t anymore only about food, coffee are an intrinsic part of Italian way of life. The warm and comfortable feeling of the deco are expressed in the full flavors of the coffee. The coffee roasting is done on site, we buy only ethically sourced coffee, the blends and the roasting takes into consideration the different tastes of the South African clientele. We were looking for somewhere to eat as a lot of places are under refurb. We really enjoyed this place, great vibe, busy and well priced. It has a wood fired oven and a couple of good guys making the pizzas. Great service, well managed, we would recommend this place. We used to eat at the owners previous restaurant (Luigis in Riverclub) and got to know the staff really well. We didn't realise that he had started Eatalian and brought his staff with him so we were pleasantly surprised to see everyone there. Fabio has been an entrepreneur for the past 20 years and has successfully managed and owned a number of diverse business’ ranging from the hospitality to the home improvement and property industry. This experience has equipped him with a particular skill set that ensures success when it comes to setting up new projects and business ventures, he has an excellent understanding of financial and operational efficiency and the ability to identify, modify and achieve business objectives. Fabio’s career to date is not only a demonstration of his ability to lead but also his ability to be a valuable team player. The Italian heritage leave strongly with Marco and the passion for his route and culture are still visible on his day by day life. The experience and the knowledge gather in the past years makes Marco one the best Food and Beverage Manager in the country, Member of the Chaine de Rotisseurs, diploma with the South Africa Wine Academy.
