Management Team The Operations Director has completed all the courses required by P.S.I.R.A, to be able to register as a director of the company. As a director and shareholder of the company he has a personal responsibility of ensuring the smooth operation of all sites entrusted to FURION SECURITY. The General Manager served as a Sergeant for five years in the armed forces being mainly responsible for the protection of military personnel, and the safe-guarding of aircraft and arms lockers. This experience allowed him to recognize the vast shortcomings of installations and security measures implemented at developments he previously sold on behalf of developers. This was the catalyst for him to branch out into the security industry. Our Operations and Training Manager has 25 years experience in the Security Industry. He is responsible for having trained up to 40% of the current security workforce in Johannesburg. Fire Arms Instructor (All weapons including pump action and automatic) He is accredited to conduct the following courses: PSIRA accredited training courses (E-A) Our guarding service includes controlling access and egress points be it a warehouse, corporate offices, retail sites and shopping centers, gated residential areas or golfing estates. From basic site patrols to more complex security solutions, FURION will design and implement security measures to ensure the safety of you, your family and your business. We also provide on request a guard monitoring system which consists of various pre-established checkpoints that the guard on duty needs to visit within an assigned time frame. Should a guard fail to meet this timeline for some reason, an alert is sent through to the control room and the operations manager. INVESTIGATIONS Our investigations are conducted by an ex C.I.D policeman who served 25 years in the South African Police Service and has vast experience in private investigative work for major corporations, along with protection services rendered to V.I.P’s, Diplomats and people under witness-protection programs. We offer a consulting service to equip you with the relevant information and plan of action for maintaining the safety of you or your business.
