As an Authorised Dealer, Forex World Bureau De Change is permitted to approve applications for Omnibus Facilities up to twenty (20) million rand per calendar year for allocation at the discretion of the company in respect of any number of business trips abroad by one or more travellers. Individuals still qualify for single discretionary allowance of R1 million per calendar year and are not affected by company travel spend in foreign currency. Any business with this authorisation receives exemption from only accepting Rands as payment. B21 is a clause in the exchange control rulings of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) which states that any business in the tourism industry may accept foreign notes and travellers cheques as payment for goods and services rendered, provided that the business has applied for, and has a B21. Letter from the company’s banker authorizing the company to accept foreign currency from clients as per Section B21 of the Reserve Bank rulings.
