Fedglass established in 1992, has expanded substantially into the market. Over the years we have not only built on our product range, but boast a huge factory with crane facilities, and invested into state of the art glass processing machinery, our newly acquired glass toughening plant where we manufacture and process all our own glass right up to the finished product, be it TSG (toughened safety glass) or other specialist glass, in quick turnaround time. Included in our plant are the latest Bavaloni CNC glass processing machines with ultra-slick finished glass products, be it shaped counter tops with brilliant shine edging. Due to market demands and our experience in glass, balustrading was the first deviation from strictly glass products, and with market evolution, stainless steel was later introduced. We have our own glass toughening plant, installed and fully operational, having recently acquired SABS status, rendering all our safety glass as SANS 1263 compliant. Our balustrade division offers very competitively priced products, with frameless glass balustrades our obvious forerunner. We have paired these balustrades with the latest handrail designs, whether slotted or through glass. Our well-trained fitment teams ensure that jobs get completed on time, backed by Fedglass professional site and office staff. Today, we have grown in all departments, including manufacturing of all stainless steel components for the balustrade and architectural market (having in the interim set up a fully-fledged CNC engineering operation). We are also the sole importers and stockists of hand-crafted antique mirror from Italy in a range of colours. They can be cut, beveled and shaped to requirements. Our latest innovation is the back painted glass range. We are accredited applicators of GlassKote, resulting in us offering a wide range of coloured glass products, from boardroom tables to splashbacks and wall cladding. Fedglass sources ideas both locally and internationally, and we keep abreast of all the current European trends. Fedglass is the local applicator of GlassKote as well as being members of Sagga & Smart Glass.
