The school has a magnificent pavilion for school and community use. We have two of the best computer centres in our community for students use. We believe in the importance of computer education as a lifelong skill. We have trained counsellors to assist students in confidential and personal matters. Our Governing Body is pro-active in employing the most dynamic teachers available. Sport and Cultural Activities should play an important role in education. Discipline should at all times be strict, but sympathetic and fair. Education is a partnership between the educators, the parents and the child. The Bryanston High School teaching staff are a well balanced team. Teachers with 30 years experience are complemented by young dynamic teachers. Our admin and support staff are the superstar team who work diligently in the background to make sure every interaction with Bryanston High School is a professional one. Each grade is assigned a group of teachers who remain their controllers from Grade 8 until the day they leave Bryanston High School in Matric. All payments to the school can be made at the fees office or directly deposited into the schools bank account. The shop is conveniently located on the school premises opposite the pool in the gym quad area and is run by Aida. The school rules referred to in the above policy are printed in the learners diary. History is an extremely versatile and interesting subject to study. At Bryanston High the History Department made it their mission to let the learners understand that History is not just names and dates in a textbook that they have to memorize. Everything that happened in the past had such a great influence on where and who we are today. We teach the learners that History should never be forgotten and that it is full of lessons to be learnt to better equip us for the future. Learners are taught valuable life skills in History. We are passionate about History at Bryanston High, and we strive to ignite some of that passion in our learners.
