Zanele is a dynamic businesswoman with extensive corporate experience spanning over 25 years in both private and public sector. More than half her experience is in professional services with EY. Zanele is currently the Founder and Executive Director of ZMX Advisory, a business that provides advisory services to entrepreneurial growth companies. The business is founded on experience in dealing with entrepreneurs across the African continent, and how business owners face similar challenges in their quest to grow their business, job creation, and the economy. She also led the teams that successfully launched the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programs in Eastern and West Africa regions in Zanele has engaged with Africa’s outstanding Entrepreneurs and business leaders; presented at various forum on Global Business Trends, Risk and Opportunities; Entrepreneurship and Africa’s Attractiveness for doing business. Zanele is a member of the Senatla Strategy and Operations Board, bringing her operational and financial experience to the Senatla investee companies. Aneen has over 12 years public accounting and financial reporting experience, with a specialization in international capital markets. Prior to that she was a Director in M&A at PwC, New York, NY and before that with PwC in Johannesburg. Tholang has over 10 years working experience in Finance and Accounting in the Banking and Insurance sectors. Karthi Pillay is an established and well respected professional in the pension fund industry in Southern Africa, with particular expertise in the new frontier practice of responsible investing and corporate governance and serves as a Specialist in Retirement Fund Governance. He is responsible for Compliance, Stakeholder Management and Transformation for the Telkom Retirement Fund. In addition he has served as the Former 1St Deputy President of the Communication Workers Union. He was a member of the Cosatu Trustee Forum which dealt with Pension Fund Reform.
