Connect Groups are small groups of around 12 people who meet once a week in a convenient location for 8 to 12 weeks depending on the resource used. Being part of a group is a great way to make new friends, grow in your relationship with God, and be connected to the heartbeat of our church. We encourage everyone to get involved in a Connect Group at the beginning of each term because we believe this is where you will experience the greatest spiritual growth in your life. Your fingerprint uniquely defines you but it is only skin deep. We are baptised in obedience to the Word of God and Christ’s example as He Himself was baptised. If you are exploring the Christian faith, or are a new believer, this is the course for you! If you missed joining a Connect Group, this group is a great group to join. If you are new at New Life and would like to meet new people and enjoy a life-giving resource, this is the place for you! Our caring facilitators are experienced and understand the pain of divorce. Allow insights and testimonies of God’s mercy and grace to bring healing from the hurt of divorce. This includes a parallel program for children and teens. The Parenting Children Course was developed in 1990 by Nicky and Sila Lee for parents and care-givers looking for practical support to strengthen their family relationships. Over five sessions, the course will help you to build foundations, meet your children’s needs, set clear boundaries, teach healthy relationships amongst many other amazing benefits. GriefShare is a friendly, caring environment where a trained counsellor will walk alongside you, and within the group dynamic you will find the help you need for one of life’s most difficult experiences. GriefShare is a special weekly support group where they understand what you are going through. With weekly meetings on Sunday mornings that run parallel to the main church service, they receive inspiring, age specific messages from the Bible to help them grow in their relationship with God. The Way has a unique buzz and feel which enables the teens to encounter God and have a crazy-fun time while doing it! Serving is all about sharing the Gospel through word and action. We understand that God’s calling on our church is to serve in the Church and to go beyond our New Life walls to meet the needs of the people that cross our paths every day. Everyone has a unique spiritual gift given to us by God to serve one another and to build His Church, and everyone is called to minister. New Life Community Centres contribute to educating and nurturing previously disadvantaged communities by providing for practical needs, emotional wellness, leadership and education programs. When we give we partner with God in building His Church through the transformation of people’s lives.
