We are a multi-site church, meeting in many locations around Johannesburg. Our vision is to see lives, communities and society transformed through discipleship in the Word, the presence and the power of God. We are a diverse group of people who have chosen to be together as a testimony to what God is building in South Africa. God’s presence is our priority and we are passionate about discipling people into a personal relationship with Christ. We teach how to live life His way, write and sing songs about His extravagant love, value and grow children in their walk with the Lord, provide hope and a future for orphans and vulnerable children, care for the sick, poor and needy, reach teens and university students across the city and strengthen marriages and families. His People Johannesburg is a member of Every Nation, a worldwide family of churches and ministries that exists to honour God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation. At His Kids, we’re committed to giving children of all ages a safe, fun time, and our biggest desire is that they will love church and want to come back! We are passionate about discipling the kids in the Word, the presence and the power of God. An encounter with God begins the journey to salvation and on to being connected with other kids and leaders. Our creative and fun programs are designed to facilitate growth, and to raise up kids who can confidently lead and influence their world. His People is a member of Every Nation Ministries, a worldwide movement of churches. As a campus ministry we believe that freedom is not a concept or a philosophy but a place from which we want students to live. We want to be a generation who is free to live out the purposes for which we were created by God. We recognise that Wits University is our community and we want our community to be impacted by God’s Word, His presence and power. Wits is an intellectual hub for South Africa and Africa and is home to students we believe will have positions of influence. We have a unique opportunity to reach students from various backgrounds and to touch one of these students is to touch their community. God’s touch on a single life can resonate throughout generations to come. True freedom is not only a concept but a possibility in our generation. Education is a key that all young people are entitled to and can attain, unlocking a world of possibilities. Reaching those around us and empowering others through discipleship & missions will bring a culture of change in our nation.
