What you should know about A-WESTVIEW LODGE Retirement Home
Our centre offers assisted living, post-operative and/or rehabilitation purposes, be it for step-down, frail care and midcare, or be it ongoing nursing care over a long term period. Westview Lodge is a luxury old age and nursing home.
They are still independent and have been living on their own. They no longer wish or are no longer capable of living alone and decide to retire to a retirement home where everything is handled for them: the nursing care, meals, laundry, social activities, etc. Our rooms in midcare are large (20 sq.meters) and they all have private phones, M-NET, automatic heating, built-in cupboards, en-suite bathrooms and are wired for satellite reception. All our rooms open onto a patio which, in turn, gives onto our gardens. Residents in our midcare are socially and functionally active but need a little supervision or care either mobilising, or dressing or washing. Our semi-frailcare section is ideal for those residents that are mentally coherent but require some care. Accommodation is in single rooms with bathrooms en-suite. All semi-frail rooms have the same luxuries and comforts of our midcare rooms, but with the advantage of additional nursing care. Our semifrail section is ideal for stroke patients, people suffering from Parkinson's disease or COPD/emphysema sufferers. Our frail care is suitable for people who require constant supervision and care. Our frail care accommodation comprises of two wards accommodating three residents each. Each cubicle has a private bedroom area and a private living room area. Our frail care residents have their own living room and dining room which overlooks a self-contained garden. Since 1997, we have been looking after residents requiring different degrees of supervision and care. Professional nursing, lovely and homely surroundings, friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and spacious rooms, tasty and nutritious meals, social activities, companionship.
